THE MAJESTIC KINGDOM OF AVALON
The
Majestic Kingdom of Avalon is a Medieval/Fantasy group located on Long
Island, NY. Our Realm's scope of recreation covers the history of
pre-17th Century back to Creation. We also provide for numerous
elements from the world of fantasy, including, but in no way limited
to: Tolkien, Arthurian, Asgardian, Roman, Shakespearean, and More!
Here, it would not be uncommon to clash blades with Strider the Ranger,
to dodge the arrows of Robin of Locksley, to learn first hand the
ancient ways of Merlin, or to spend the evening feasting with The
Knights
of the Round Table! In Avalon, one can be practically anyone they wish,
for unlike LARP groups which centers around the acquisition of
experience in a modular setting, it's personal aesthetics, such as
garb, makeup, and props, that sets one above the rest. The Majestic
Kingdom of Avalon holds 2 events a month, as well as weekly fighter
practice/meetings. It is at these gatherings that We of Avalon engage
in much entertainment and revelry including, but not limited to: Boffer
Combat in Woods Battles, Field Skirmishes, Bridge Charges, Maze
Gauntlets, Gladiatorial Clashes, and Noble Pas de Arms on the King's
List. One can also appreciate our Bardic Talents, Period Arts and
Sciences, Royal Courts, Sumptuous Banquets, Challenging Games and
Competitions, Chivalric Vigils and Ceremonies, and all other forms of
reverly that makes the Age of Historic Past and the Legends of Fantasy
so wonderful to recreate! Come join our Majestic Kingdom of Avalon and
escape to a world only thought possible in the Realm of Dreams!
